Club career

[edit]

Born in Adamuz, Córdoba, Andalusia,[3][citation needed] in 2019, Cuenca joined the youth academy of Spanish La Liga side Barcelona, where he was regarded as one of the club's most important players.[4] On October 1, 2024, Cuenca made his senior debut for Barcelona in an UEFA Champions League match against Swiss club Young Boys subbing in for Iñigo Martínez in the 84th minute.[5]

[edit]

Cuenca mainly operates as a defender and has been described as a "left-handed center back with a more than clean ball output".[7]
